Aw thank you so much ! Oh gosh, I am rubbish at keeping track of hours. I'd say around 10 hours max for drawing-time on one of these, plus another one or 2 for the initial sketch(es) and other preparation.
Thanks Sarah! Yes I got a lovely message on Boxing Day to say the recipient had tears in her eyes. So that's nice! (Well, not nice to make someone cry under normal circumstances... ah you know what I mean!!)
Haha really!?? That beats my record! LOL (I do however have a giant gummy bear that has been sitting in the refridgerator since April 2012 and has survived one house move in that time. I wonder if I will ever get around to eating that...)
Lol, yup! It's German chocolate, though, so it better last a while and still be good (it's so tasty!). Haha, I didn't know they even made giant gummy bears. You might have to let it thaw a little if you plan on munching on it...
This is suuuuuch a beautiful piece, I saw it on Facebook of course! Gorgeous!
Yes to eat so far today I've had chocolate ice cream, very meltysmooth yummy stuff, which was melty because it was out as the fridge and freezer are defrosting. But that was the last of the ice cream! I also ate a chocolate Santa head (off the body) - milk, white and dark choc. Plus a caramel truffle and a coconut cream choc which is very blue on the outside. Here's a photo I took of that interesting box of chocs: pbs.twimg.com/media/BcQvNQBCcA… (the caramel one wasn't from there and by the way coconut isn't my fave, but I still like it! That wasn't a Christmas box, but I only started eating from it on Christmas (though I won't be having the mango ones which is fine because I wasn't ever going to be the only one chowing those anyway! And I have just read your amazing note. THANK YOU!!! It has made me feel good and pleased and I'm reeeeally glad you dig your pressies. I will reply to it soon! Nope, I haven't got your parcel yet, but I didn't expect it by now
