24x24", oil on MDF board.

Started August last year, and I almost trashed it - it's my first large MDF painting and I ran into a few problems early on. But I got over it and worked through them.

It's meant to slightly recall classic 1800s stallion portraits, I think it's ended up looking a bit like a pub sign! :lol:

Originally inspired by "The Piebald Horse" by Paulus Potter.
